Eric Nutt

Vice President, National Commercial Accounts

You only live once, so make sure every day is your best day and you put in your best effort.

ABOUT ERIC

Banking veteran Eric Nutt joins the Commonwealth team as a Vice President of Commercial Accounts, with a specialization in commercial banking and lenders.  With an impressive two decades of banking experience, Eric joins the title industry with an innate understanding of its financial side.

Outgoing with a can-do attitude, Eric attributes his success to his honesty and authentic nature.  His clients describe him as determined and dedicated – and they stay assured that Eric will handle all their needs, and help them grow their business.  His favorite part of the job is closing business when it begins to happen – and abides by professional values of being accountable, visible, and authentic.  “You only live once, so make sure every day is your best day and you put in your best effort,” says Eric.  A straight shooter, Eric takes a straightforward and direct approach with his business.

Eric’s understanding of the world of banking is backed by his accomplishments.  In 2008, Eric sold over $4 million in annuities, and another $5 million in referrals – and was recognized as a top investment banker at Amtrust.  He was also ranked at the top 1% of producing managers at the National Bank of Arizona in 2019 and 2020 for top production.  Eric arrives in his position with hefty experience in reviewing loan portfolios and analyzing cash flow for businesses – and knows the banker jargon like the back of his hand.
Eric’s affiliations include Business Network International, a professional networking group, and Cal Ripken Baseball, a sports network.  He is an alumni member of the Sigma Chi fraternity, and the Delta Sigma Pi professional business organization.

Eric graduated from Arizona State University in 2001 with a degree in business.  He is originally from Issaquah, Washington, and has two sons: Brennan, 10, and Austin, 8, along with one dog – a poodle-schnauzer mix.  In his free time, he enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, and is heavily involved in the world of sports: from coaching youth baseball, supporting ASU football, to even running his own sports cards business - which he sells at big shows on the weekend.
